HISTORY, BACKGROUND and  DISCUSSION

The City Commission is the appointing authority for Neighborhood Planning Councils pursuant to Resolution 423, dated November 20, 1979.   It appoints based on the recommendations of the individual Neighborhood Planning Council.  Any person having demonstrable or substantial interest within the defined boundaries of the Council area may be appointed upon recommendation by said Council.
