Resolved by the Commission of the City of Battle Creek:
This Resolution sets a Closed Session immediately following the Regular City Commission meeting on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, pursuant to MCL 15.268(e) to consult with the City's attorney regarding trial or settlement strategy in connection with specific pending litigation because an open meeting would have a detrimental financial effect on the litigating or settlement position of the City.
and that Rebecca L. Fleury, City Manager, is hereby appointed as the designated secretary to record and prepare appropriate Minutes of this Closed Session.
