Each year at this time Battle Creek Transit develops applications for State operating assistance from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).  These funds are for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.  Battle Creek Transit is also submitting an application for a 5311(f) funds to assist with the cost to replace the roof on the City's Intermodal Transportation Center.

Additionally, Battle Creek Transit, via an agreement with MDOT, works with area human services agencies that wish to apply for State funds to support the operational and capital needs of transportation services that they provide to senior citizens and persons with disabilities in the Battle Creek community.
