A Resolution appointing City Commissioner Susan Baldwin as the City of Battle Creek's official representative at the Annual Business Meeting of the Michigan Municipal League.

BATTLE CREEK, MICHIGAN - 8/4/2015

Resolved by the Commission of the City of Battle Creek:

 

The Michigan Municipal League is the organization that represents the interests of Michigan cities and villages, and the City of Battle Creek, as a member, should maintain a voting membership in the organization.

 

City Commissioner Susan Baldwin has requested to attend the upcoming conference of the Michigan Municipal League on September 16-18, 2015.

 

Therefore, Commissioner Susan Baldwin is hereby appointed as the City of Battle Creek's official representative at the Annual Business Meeting of the Michigan Municipal League on September 17, 2015, at the Park Plaza Hotel.









I, Victoria Houser, City Clerk of the City of Battle Creek, hereby certify the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of a Resolution adopted by the Battle Creek City Commission at a Regular meeting held on August 4, 2015.

HISTORY, BACKGROUND and  DISCUSSION

The MML Annual Business Meeting will be held on September 17, 2015, during the Annual Convention. Business conducted at the Annual Meeting includes the election of trustees and voting on statements of policy and resolutions. MML Bylaws require the City Commission to designate an official to cast the vote for the City of Battle Creek at the annual meeting.
