Resolved by the Commission of the City of Battle Creek:
The City of Battle Creek and the International Association of Fire Fighters, Local No. 335 (IAFF), entered into a tentative contract agreement on April 18, 2017. The IAFF Local 335 has not yet scheduled its ratification meeting. However, for efficiency purposes the tentative agreement will be presented first to the City.
This resolution accepts the tentative agreement between the City of Battle Creek and the IAFF, Local No. 335, as the contract between the parties for the period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2020, and authorizes the City Manager to sign the Agreement.
I, Victoria Houser, City Clerk of the City of Battle Creek, hereby certify the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of a Resolution adopted by the Battle Creek City Commission at a Regular meeting held on May 16, 2017.
