Resolved by the Commission of the City of Battle Creek:
That the following individuals are appointed to the Bicycle Advisory Committee with terms to expire on July 17, 2018:
- Mayor Mark Behnke is appointed, replacing Andy Helmboldt.
- Margaret Joy Wood, 169 Buckley Ln., is appointed, replacing Chuck Donnell (At Large).
- Carl Fedders is appointed, replacing Chris Dopp (City Engineer).
- Bill Duggan is moving from an At Large position, to a position representing Kellogg's (business community)
- Kevin Smith is moving to an At Large position, replacing Bill Duggan.
- Duska Brumm is appointed, replacing Kevin Smith (Parks & Recreation)

| None | HISTORY, BACKGROUND and DISCUSSION
| The City Commission adopted Resolution No. 168 on May 15, 2012, establishing a Bicycle Advisory Committee. On October 7, 2014, the City Commission adopted Resolution No.268 adding a business owner and an at-large position to the Committee.
The purpose of the Committee is to assist the City by providing research, community outreach, and policy recommendations to City Commission and Staff. The membership of the Committee will include 2 City Commissioners, 1 staff member from the Park and Recreation Department, 1 staff member from the Engineering Department, 1 resident from each of the 5 City Wards, 3 representatives from the business community and not more than 3 at-large members.
