That Commissioner Christopher Simmons is appointed to the Tax Abatement Committee, replacing Deborah Owens.

| Mayor John J. H. Schwarz, M.D. created the Tax Abatement Committee in 1985 to develop the City's abatement guidelines. It continues to meet periodically to review and recommend changes to the guidelines, to review specific applications that don't meet all of the guidelines, and to review and recommend new industrial development districts.
