Resolved by the Commission of the City of Battle Creek:
That a Closed Session of the City Commission will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, in Room 302A, City Hall, Battle Creek Michigan, pursuant to MCL 15.268(c) for strategy and negotiation sessions connected with the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements as requested by the City;
and that Rebecca L. Fleury, City Manager, is hereby appointed as the designated secretary to record and prepare appropriate Minutes of this Closed Session.
I, Victoria Houser, City Clerk of the City of Battle Creek, hereby certify the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of a Resolution adopted by the Battle Creek City Commission at a Regular meeting held on December 17, 2019.

| As permitted under the Michigan Open Meetings Act, a public body, upon a majority vote, may meet in closed session for strategy and negotiation sessions connected with the negotiation of a collective bargaining agreement if either negotiating party requests a closed hearing, and the City has requested that closed session;
and that Rebecca L. Fleury, City Manager, is hereby appointed as the designated secretary to record and prepare appropriate Minutes of this Closed Session.
